Worlds Unite: Art of Three Realms.

The Fusion of Roots, Pixels, and Ink

My art is the collision of three worlds. I was born in Madagascar, where vibrant colors and rich traditions are woven into everyday life. When I was three, my family and I left that beautiful island, seeking safety in the shores of New Zealand. Growing up surrounded by the green peaks and open skies of Aotearoa, I found a new canvas—a place that shaped my view of the world and my art.

My artistic influences stem from a blend of well-known animations and movies, like the magical worlds of Disney and the deeply emotional, beautifully crafted films of Studio Ghibli. As I grew up and gained internet access, I started branching out—exploring YouTube, cartoons, games, manga, and anime, which opened my eyes to new ways of storytelling through visuals.

Storytelling has always been at the heart of my creativity, not just in art but also in my writing. In my senior year of school, I found joy in expressing stories through creative writing and English, letting words and images merge to bring my ideas to life.

Whether it’s a detailed sketch with the feel of pencil on paper or a digital piece that pushes the limits of my imagination, I draw from these three worlds. My art is my way of connecting to my roots, embracing new influences, and expressing who I am.
